Bosnia-Herzegovina beat Estonia 2-0 on Saturday after goals from Edin Dzeko and Vedad Ibisevic to clinch second spot in Group 5 of World Cup qualifying.

Dzeko received the ball on a counterattack after Estonia had squandered possession and found the net in the 30th minute.

Ibisevic made it 2-0 in the 64th by beating goalkeeper Sergei Pareiko after another fast-breaking attack by the visitors.

The best chance for Estonia came in the 41st minute, when Vladimir Voskoboinikov's powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area just missed the net.

Ibisevic had an excellent chance to extend Bosnia's lead in the 89th minute but his shot missed the net by a large margin.

Bosnia is likely to advance to a two-legged playoff for the World Cup after finishing second in the group behind Spain.
