Kirk, re the commemoration of the Siege of Sarajevo, your visitors (particularly the Bosnian speakers - it helps!) might be interested in this clip showing the commemorative event organised by GfbV around the repainting of the Sarajevo Rose at Ferhadija Street, as part of the Geneocide Prevention Project's marking of April as Genocide Prevention Month.

Today is the anniversary of 74 Muslim children that were massacred in front of Srebrenica's elementary school in 1993, long before Srebrenica genocide occured. More than 150 children were seriously injured. This crime was perpetrated by militatirized Serbs from villages around Srebrenica. I will have mega-update of my blog tommorow. Let us not forget.
Thanks Dan for continuing to remind us of the massacre of children inflicted by the brave artillery of the Bosnian Serb Army during what was assumed to be a period of truce.
