Bosnian Women's Day--March 10, 2009

Courtesy of Advocacy Net, a story about a Capitol Hill ceremony for Bosnian Women's Day, featuring Beba Hadzic of BOSFAM.

I most likely will not be able to attend, but I encourage anyone in the DC area who is able to, to visit the webpage and RSVP Elmina Kulasic. If I am able to adjust my schedule, I will be there myself.

Just to make sure there's an easily accessible link to the BOSFAM Srebrenica Quilt project:

Srebrenica Genocide said...

It is horrible to see families of war criminals enjoying their lives to the fullest, without even carring for innocent Srebrenica genocide victims. There is no justice in this World.

I am not surprised that Danijela Krstic is in denial about her father. She simply cannot comprehend that her loving father is a beast that participated in the Srebrenica genocide. After all, she is his daughter. Many serial killers tend to be good parents to their children and good husbands to their wives. Notorious BTK Strangler from Wichita was reportedly respected in his community, he was a good father and a good husband. His family could had never imagined that a man responsible for gruesome crimes was a man they shared their lives with under the same roof. Milenko Krstic is no different - he is worse. He claims he had done nothing wrong. But remember, he was caught lying - not once, but twice. Like most serial murderers, he is manipulative and he has no credibility whatsoever. Bosnian prosecutors must act quick and demand Krstic extradition to Bosnia immediately.

Update: To this date, Daniela Krstic never responded to our E-mail. It is obvious that she could not care less about the victims of Srebrenica genocide.

Daniel, nobody is under any obligation to reply to e-mails when they're put in the public pillory for actions that are not their responsibility.

I have to agree with Owen, Daniel--while I share your dismay at what seems to be indifference, I would remind you that the sins of the father are not passed on to the child.
