The bad news--Ratko Mladic continues to live as a free man; justice is still delayed.

The silver lining--the EU shows some integrity, and makes good on threats:

CNN Story on EU Action

In short, the EU has suspended talks on Serbian membership now that the deadline for Mladic's arrest has passed without seeing the butcher of Srebrenica in international custody. Good for them.

Let's not forget that Karadzic is also still on the run, shuttling back and forth between the Republika Srpska and Montenegro. If the independence of Montenegro goes through as is widely expected, the international community needs to hold their feet to the fire on this issue.

Hey, way to sign up purely so you can make ignorant, unfounded, and misspelled accusations. Welcome to the blogosphere, genius.

Your ignorance is amazing--you call someone a 'rasist' because he wants a couple of war criminals arrested. And I know plenty about the areas in question. There is nothing in my post--nothing in my entire blog--which is remotely racist. Nothing. You are a complete idiot, and you make a fool of yourself coming here to make such an idiotic comment. Feel free to continue--if I didn't want negative feedback, I would disable your ability to make such posts. One nice thing about a blog like this is that it draws lowlife scum like yourself to crawl out from under rocks and show your true colors. If you have some specific reason to call me a racist, I'd love to hear it. If you find some fault with my understanding of the former Yugoslavia, let's hear it. I don't claim to be an expert, in fact I think the title of my blog makes it pretty damn clear that I am not from the area. So what? What nuance of Serbo-Croat-Bosniak history/culture/recent events did I get wrong in that one-paragraph post. I'm dying to hear your explanation.
