Srebrenica Genocide Blog

Sometimes you can miss something right in front of your eyes. Today I noticed--a year and a half after starting this blog--that I'd never included a link to one of the blogs I read on a regular basis; namely the Srebrenica Genocide Blog.

This oversight has been corrected. I trust that most readers of this blog are already familiar with Daniel's excellent and impassioned work. I am just happy that I finally noticed this puzzling omission.

    Hello,

My name is Ting and I am currently working with a social justice and human rights organization. We are working in conjunction with a group in Bosnia on commemorating the Srebrenica Genocide with a quilt made by survivors of the massacre, which is being exhibited around the US.

I am attempting to expand this project and its message of peace and importance of not forgetting this massacre. I was wondering if I could talk to you briefly through email.

You can reach me at twu@advocacynet.org

    Thanks so much!
    -Ting

Thank you Kirk for all your kind words! You are #1.

I strongly encourage you to get in touch with Ting from AdvocacyNet.org - they are great people with human rights activism in mind, and I am very glad she contacted me. We could feature one of their projects on our blogs. And they have a wonderful project going about Srebrenica weavers.

One more thing, I want to get in touch with you to show you something related to my latest blog post, you can contact me at my "temporary" email:

    srebrenicaeditor@hotmail.com

Hope to hear back from you! All the best and thank you for running one of the best blogs around!

Kirk, I'd throw in my support for Ting's project as well but I know you're already familiar with Bosfam and their work. I've done a UK Pledgebank Pledge for the quilt at http://www.pledgebank.com/SrebrenicaQuilt in case you have any other interested UK readers.
